I'll try and make sure we send any breaking new to Stu, though I have just realised that the term 'breaking news' probably wasn't the best choice of words!! LOL.

Last year Gary's was disappointing considering the power, but we put that down to gearing. His times last year were cira 14 seconds!! :?

It will be sub-10 this year for the 30-130, Im sure.

Just spoken to Hayward-san

Scores on the doors so far;
His best so far 8.8 seconds from 30mph to 130mph
50-100 3.8 seconds :o

Ross has just done a 8.6 30-130 and the quickest today has done a 7.1!!

For reference, my old GTR in its 400bhp spec did a 50-100 in 7.5 seconds.

More news when I get it :thumb:

what a day, when we got there first thing i already had ross on phone saying his car wouldnt start, fairly quickly we found his cdi igntion box had failed and the spare was back at unit!!

ross decided to head back to workshop and get it and i headed for the first run, considering last time was here i did one run at 14 something i was hoping for better

first run i did it in 9.2!!! woo hoo in to sub tens and with a 50-100 time of 4 secs

after a bit of map tweaking and another couple of runs i get a 8.8 and 50-100 in 3.8 secs

im over moon and i have achieved what i set out to do get in to 8's,by this time ross is back and with car now running he sets of and a few runs hes got a 8.6 wooo and well done ross his previous time was 15secs on old spec so fair play to him on driving so well

at this point he has some gearbox issues and decides further tries will only do more damage and says to me i can borrow his light weight wheels and 255/35r18 toyo r888's.

after a bit of hassle i get them on and am excited as i was getting shit load of wheel spin in 2nd gear so better grip will get me a much better time.soon as i pulled away i knew it felt much more reponsive.

as i head up to top of runway i try a start in first and it just digs in very little slip and that is were i should have just drove to top and with rolling start 30-130 in a better time would have been easy im sure

but no i stopped and unloaded 715bhp BANG and it rips the teeth of transfer box,im sure christian will be along with some pics soon

many thanks to ross for lift back with car,i got to drive his while mine was on trailer :-D
