Just got back from bruntingthorpe proving ground.

I got 120 mph in the old girl, down the straight and was very pleased with that, as I had all my camera stuff in the boot and a passenger. I could have made it 125 possibly as I braked way, way to early.

This was the first time i've been All in all a good day.

I'm now looking into getting some cars down there to do some testing, I'll keep you posted.

Nice one Matt, I really wouldn't want to be in that at 120mph!! :o

I love Brunters. Most of my runway events are held there and it was on their runway that I did 168.9mph, although I have since equalled this at Woodbridge, but even though that's so much closer, I still prefer Brunters.

It's about 2.5-3 hours away too. We usually go A11/M11/A14/M6N from memory.

The last time I was in a Mini at over a ton, the doors felt like they wanted to open.

Mine feels remarkably composed at speed on the runway too. I don't think its the 'norm' for Escorts to feel that tight though.
