Those rubber keyboard membraines work a treat, never seen one for a laptop though.

I used fairy liquid and water to clean coke of an amigas motherboard for a nephew once, worked a treat, the trick is to get the power off asap.

the trouble was the coffee went into the vent holes on the side of the laptop and sat fermenting away.

Heyho - claim has been accepted so it might turn out for the better.
