Saw them from your link from last night. Excellent pics. Ben looks to be really pushing it. Time for a suspension upgrade to the Type R?

Looking at these pics trying to work out how you have fixed the timing struts - seems to be a mixture of zip ties and tank tape :o ??

You think it is just the timing struts? Hell, most of the bodywork is held on with zip ties and tank tape :-D

I think thats just racing cars in general Chief. Why bolt on when a cable tie will do!

Velcro! It's brilliant stuff. Velcro holds most of the interior stuff, on mine, whilst it's zip ties, self tappers and duct tape for the exterior.

Hi Gerry

Good to catch up with you at Silverstone. Andy filled me in with the Snetterton story. Hope the damage is all cosmetic and easily fixed!

If you are trying properly in motorsport, falling off the circuit is bound to happen occasionally. In my experience though, 99% of the time people get away with it (occasionally, heading sickeningly towards a barrier at high speed and then seeing the car inexplicably stop or swing wide!) Around 1% of the time there's something more solid in the way. It seems to me someone has switched the odds on you there :(

Perhaps you should buy a lottery ticket and test the theory out

Cheers

Spence.

Hi Spence, Nice to see you again on Saturday.

I think where Snetterton was concerned, I switched the odds myself, driving like a complete tw@t. Still, that's three now, Oulton Park, Hethel and now Snett. So, if the theory about things happening in threes is true, I'm in the clear for a while.
