Pike, How did you get on in your races? Sorry we didn't get to come over for that cuppa but, as you know, it pee'd down in the afternoon and started at the beginning of our 2 hour break :x

It was a bit of a disaster results wise Gerry but I learnt loads.
We had a dry practice but I couldn't get any clear track so I qualified a lowly 19th!
The race was wet, I had a reasonable start but dropped back to 17th after a bit of a rally cross moment at brooklands.
The last few laps were fun as it started to dry out a touch as I was trying to keep Josh Rayman behind me and we were catching a group of cars infront.
It was scary in the wet, I was getting understeer on the curve of the start/finish straight, could only see the rainlight of the car inches ahead on the national straight and was getiting masses of oversteer at Brooklands. To make it worse Richard Marsh was dropping oil everywhere!

doesnt sound ideal for racing Luke but thats racing I guess .. all good experience for next year though.

Understeer at Woodcote isn't good with just a short grassy run-off.

It was a bit of a learning experience Duncan, I caught some really good slides but in a corner where no one was standing.
A big relief to park up at the end with no major damage though.

:lol: I like the baptism of water idea Gerry! I ended up aiming the front of the car for the marker posts at the apex and hoping.

The next round is at Snetterton on the 30th of September. Plenty of time for a few tweeks.

Home territory. No excuse for the Pike Fan Club not to show for this one.

Maybe Stu can organise the Royal Box for us, so we can watch in the dry.
