I'm a crap driver
Ah, we took the easy [1] option... Flew back from Naples. I've heard rumours that the car is still in the car park, and visible on Google Earth. No idea if this is true, as my old PC isn't capable of running it. Should be easy to spot if so - we had the Italian Tricolore on the roof in astroturf.Rob_B wrote:on the way back from rome i drove through 7 countries in 24hours!!!
[1] Well, it would have been easy if it wasn't for the Neapolitan driving, Neapolitan pickpockets at the airport, the baggage conveyor broke down, the flight was delayed, and affected badly by turbulence caused by storms in the Bay of Naples. Oh, and I'm **** scared of flying, which didn't help much.
lol...doesnt sound great!!
when we got to Rome we wished we'd have arranged to fly back, i had no idea how tiring it was...lol
also our volvo 360GL wasn't behaving herself, she didnt like going up hills or turning left hand bends
but would you believe it a bloke(who lives 10mins down the road from me!) with a volvo 850GLT 2.5 20v offered us his car as he decided to fly back but didnt want to scrap the car!
it was like criusing back in a maybach...1600miles in 24hours!!
