These arrived with Zak today for me from Alyn at ASP :D :D :D

Bigger injectors and fitting for these tomorrow and then we are all done.

Yokohama A048's got mounted on tyres today by my friends at Magnum Tyres in Haddenham - fantastic job, great service and great value too. Been running them on the road today and first impressions are .... loads of grip (even when not scrubbed in) but boy are they noisey. A real irritation whine at 60 mph :x

Soon goes above that though, so that is good :D

The track life on the A048 is not very long. I would say the useable life is about 2000 miles so get on the track fast. They are very noisey but TBH what did you expect LOL

Getting on the track on Monday... Cadwell Park here we come 8)

I hardly do any miles on a day to day basis now that I am not going up and down to Eastbourne every week, just trying to scrub them a little beforehand so that they are not totally green before Monday. The grip is well worth a whine :D

Plus I needed to get the geometry set with these on as they are slightly wider than the old tyres. This is happening tomorrow and will get geometry set for track with probably around 2 degrees of neg camber at the front.

Best take it a bit easy on Monday. After all the work and preparation for TA you don't want to go and stuff it at Cadwell. The run offs are non existant. :o
