I thought TA was a sprint series. Didnt know you actually raced! Respeck.

Glad you mentioned that Andy!

Probably worth noting that all JISC members, as Harrow members, will be eligible (assuming they have the appropriate competition licence) to compete in the 8 CLUBS REVIVAL RACE MEETING at Silverstone Racing Circuit on November 3rd, 2007. (The regs are not out yet).

The entry fee will be of the order of

You love it really !!!!!

I'd love to do some sprints in the Orange - assuming it works again this year :( . The Silverstone thing sounds ace, especially if I can get snowchain under my arches !!! :D :D :D

I think the best bet for entry into TA for next year will be to increase your spec regarding the safety kit as mentioned already. Try to get some sponsors on board so that it brings more than just "me and me car" to the event and looks more professional. And try to be one of the less common cars - ie maybe not a scooby or evo !!!! Obviously this years competitors will have a "foot in the door" but Im sure that there will be spaces available.

I also appreciate the fun element of it, but I think that all entrants should look at it as an event worthy of proper consideration and prep rather than "its just for fun" - not saying you are not Kev, just that as each year passes it will inevitably become more serious as that is the nature of the beast !!! Hence a professional approach will mark you out as someone to be taken seriously rather than just another entrant.

Cheers for the info james :thumb: i will certainly take it on board, i dont know how many s14 there are currently running in TA but i cant see them being alot compaired evos or scoobys, my company TKL LTD will be sponsoring me :wink: so the car will have the company logo and the like on it plus no doubt some Big Power and APT stickers too :-D, i am getting an AFFF fire ex plus i already have the front part to my roll cage just got to get it fitted (through the dash :cry: ) i am sure the more you get involved the more serious you will take it i certainly want to give it a good bash. see if you can get them snow chains fitted :-D

Theres 1 S14 in TA Club, and 2 S13's ;)

Rumour has it next year may see a return of the RWD category, if there had been this year I would have had a 1st and 2nd this year. So you can do OK.

An extra class or two would be a good idea, getting rid of the turbo / Normally aspirated rubbish - power is power :)
