Just had a go rally driving

Great fun, I have been to Rockingham to thrash Mini Cooper S's before, but this was more fun :)

No major speed involved, but we had a play in a Astra GTE which was a lot more fun than I expected. Then we changed over and thrashed a Sierra Saphire around the course. That was great, even with getting some serious sideways "moments" I never even hit a cone :) Best bit of the day was the pro taking me round in his old Escort mk 1,2 or whatever, feck me did that fly, left foot braking all the way 8)

Should have pics later and vid if it came out okay. I would thoroughly recommend it for a laugh

Will do, my bro was doing the same event so he has them on his camera. Might have them in a fortnight if I'm lucky

Did the same thing a while back. My brother bought me a rally experience day, it was in Lincolnshire at an old airfield. The morning was in a Merc skid car to learn about car control and the afternoon was in a rally 205. What a hoot, the instructor took you out as well and showed you how to do it. Dont like to brag but i was the fastest and best controlled on the day and won myself a bottle of wine! And as soon as i could i bought a 205, three in a row! Great little cars!
Save the planet! Thats where i keep all my stuff!
