Excellent check list Dunk, can I just add:

No overtaking in corners or the approach to a corner.

If there's a faster car coming up on the straight, move over to the right and use the right indicator to show you're aware of them and allow them to overtake.

If you're on the approach to a corner and there's a faster car approaching, don't panic or swerve out of the way. It's your corner and he/she should follow you through. Once through, indicate and move over to the right.

Hopefully that may prevent the train of cars that can sometimes happen.

it is fine for Snetterton - but most circuit will want both parts.

If you are using octane booster remember to take extra incase you need to fill up during the event. The fuel pumps at circuits don't normally have V-Power :)

Don't think this will be relevent for the shorter events like trackday virgins etc but always worth thinking about.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

There's a Shell garage just a few miles North of the circuit on the A11

If you are in a line of traffic or feel that your being held up back off and give yourself enough space to enjoy your car.

It's about you - it's not a race, my main advice is be vigilant, fast movers can come out of nowhere!

Something else that had just popped into my head are tyre pressures. In the dry they can build up quite rapidly and it is a good idea to reset them before you go out for a session.
For the wet its a good idea to run slightly higher pressures evenly across the car.
