Heads up!

Post by Rill »

Greetings all!

Danny P from Yorkshire signing in. :)

Proud owner of a Black MY06 WRX STi with one or two warranty-shafting aftermarket modifications! :twisted: :wink: :-D

Had it since just before Christmas and, as you would expect, I'm still grinning! 8)

Nice to see you onboard Danny.

The car looks mint, what (other than the Ultralites) have you changed on the car and, more importantly, what do you use it for? I have this thing about users on this site using their cars productively rather than knobbing around in car parks or just for the school run.

We organise many events of both a social and active nature and it would be good to see you along at some point :thumb:

Cheers matey!

Right then, I think the following list just about covers it so far....

* JVC Sound System
* Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth car kit
* 18" Ultralite G-Grids
* Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's
* Front Lip Splitter
* Lower Front Grill
* Black mud-flaps - e-bay special :oops::-D
* Green cotton panel filter
* DS2500 pads all round, Goodridge Braided hoses & DOT5.1 fluid
* Rear anti-roll bar
* Anti-lift kit
* AST Sport-Line 12-way adjustable suspension

It's booked in at Scooby Clinic next Thursday for an uprated fuel pump, exhaust system and remap and I've just ordered some Performance Friction Discs and Pads from Alyn at ASP which I'll probably fit next Friday.

Knobbing around in car parks....love it! :-D

No worries there. The rather boring commute to work is done with the wife in her 1.9 diesel Megane, the Scoob usually only comes out to play on weekends and fine evenings. I find it makes the car even more special that way. I'm very fortunate in that I live no more than a couple of minutes from miles and miles of relatively unspoilt countryside and therefore loads of lovely twisties. :twisted: Been getting a proper feel for the car over the last few weeks as I'm due to pop my track-day cherry in just over a month's time! 8)

Welcome Rill - where is the track day next month?

It will be good to have another torque monster onboard here after yours has been breathed on by SC :D

who needs the warranty anyway when you can have that much fun?

Elvington should be good - do they use the same handling circuit that they are using for the ScoobyShootout or do they put together a longer track for the track days?
