As usual Mr S a fantastic write up. I could picture the look on Dans face as you were telling the story. He said to me yesterday that he deffinately needed a beer. I am not surprised after all that grief :D
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Great words Stu......I'll never forget the last few days :D

You did forget to mention the reason for much of the hilarity :rotflol:

Picture the scene....Ian and I had just pushed the behemoth a 100 yds across gravel and grass and had some serious lactic acid build up in the calf muscles and were fooked, we then heard thunder in the distance ( we could hear Stu's gtr for miles :o ) as the noise got nearer I think some 'manfoot' was applied 8) ...Stu jumped out and rinsed us out for still being at the unit and took his postion to help with the FINAL push. I don't think Ian and I had much left in the tank so this last push was a killer. Ian and I shoulder barged the pillars prop forward style and gave it everything, at that exact moment Stu had obviously done the same and perhaps pushed a little to hard because his arse backfired in some style :rotflol: :rotflol: :rotflol: ....that was game over for 5 mins while we composed ourselves and stopped laughing!!

The trouble was that was the only one we heard, Ian and I would be at a critical stage when our noses would start twitching like a rabbit and by that time it was to late, the smell of ten dead donkeys had filled our noses and we turn round to see Stu grinning like a loon....classic :D

What a brilliant way to put it Stu mate. Top class write up!!

Like Dan said by the time you got there it felt we had been to hell and back, i felt like i had dismantled half of a GTR by that point!!

I was only to happy to help in some small way, i dont think i have ever laughed so much in such a desperate situation!
Was pissed off when i kept burning my arm on Dans oversized turbo trying to fit the plugs back in to a sound of sniggers so i decided to even the score a bit by handing Stu a red hot spark plug to clean up... oh how i laughed!

It could not have been more of a fairytale finish by Dan winning the shootout. I am sure he will remember the tales everytime he looks at the trophy. 8)
