another bit of progress....

took 4 hours to get the seat in a position i was happy with and remove the mounting brackets from the original seat etc.

we only got the passenger seat done for now but i am happy with the result.

the seat caught fire slightly coz the runners paint gave off a lick of flame ( whoops lol )

i have found the brakes lacking in "bite" today after a blast on a private road.

so for the astronomical price of

you're not gonna notice it really.

we have learned from this mistake and the drivers seat will be fine.

the important thing is its in!! lol

ok so the discs didn't fit!! and the caliper bolts were already rounded off to i had to take it off from the carrier.

not that it matters as the discs don't fit!! ( did i mention that? )

i came to the conclusion these were possibly 4X108 fitment and a 64.1 bore

steering itself towards the ford escort.

so they are going back monday.....

gonna be fitting these in may/june hopefully anyway.....
