I have to say Im surprised at how heavy some of your cars are, that mini must be fun! I have Desktop Dyno on a server if anyone wants to have a play with it, purely for evaluation purposes so you can purchase it :-D if you like it :-D if you see what I mean!!

Mine gets a bloody sight heavier when my tank arse has got in. That and a tank of fuel must see it hit nearly 1700kgs!

Dont see where torque affects this though from their calculation :?

I have to say torque would be the single most important factor in there, that as well as Drag CoEf, Rolling resistance, etc, etc, dynamix wrote:New Figs:

A very broad simulator, but not great when you want to look at the effects of different power curves, turbo lag, gear ratios, gear change speed grip levels, wieght transfer, rolling resistance etc etc.
I use a web based javascript similator that I can replicate my santapod timeslips to withing 0.05 seconds (all the way up the 1/4, so 60ft, 330ft, 1/8mile, 1000ft and 1/4mile).

And Stu thinks he's got problems
add 140kg to mine plus fuel
but hey I can dream of being my former svelte self and the figures should look like this:
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 402
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1480
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 275.98

agree but power is important too have to say these calulators are a load of crap in my opinion, there are some much more complex ones out there that take all of the above into account too but they are very complex and time consuming i'd rather just get down the strip and see what it does with myself driving.daxtojeiro wrote:I have to say torque would be the single most important factor in there, that as well as Drag CoEf, Rolling resistance, etc, etc, dynamix wrote:New Figs:

but for a laugh this would be a time for when i had the stock turbos on
