Morning - well checked news no mention yet of how they are - I wouldn't hold my breath to be honest on the 1 under the car.

As to my road - I live at the bottom of constituition hill, and it's a through road, so it seems that everyone wants to race down it - the car lost control outside mine, hit a set of bollards then smashed the kids into the front of the newsagent (Gary the shop next door to your mums).

Car was doing over the speed limit and didn't brake at all till it hit the shop.

That`s not good at all, I hope the kids get through it. Why oh why does soemone not provide somewhere for the kids to drive their cars fast out of the way of the public. Surely something could be set up for them so this doesn`t happen. I know you will say well go to the track, but I think they need something especially for them. Obviously I am not making an excuse for what that driver did. Maybe places that are open in the evening, well lit and supervised.

This is tragic. It's always the innocent party who comes off worse in these situations. Thoughts have to be with the kids and their families. I saw something similiar in the news yesterday where a 19 month old baby was killed when it's pushchair was hit by a vehicle out of control, the driver was 14 years old. :x in a cases like this the driver should be on a murder charge!!!!!!!!!!!

thats horrible. People u know as a result coppers are prolly going to be cracking down on performance cars on the street. Use them as an excuse or target for a solution. someone has to be the scapegoat unfortunately. It sucks but it seems people who love performance cars always get the bad end and the blame...

rather than blaming the retards responsible for their actions.

That is terrible. Lets hope the kids and their families get through it ok.

How are you Ben? A bit shell shocked no doubt.

It does bring the fast car issue to the front of everyones minds when something like this happens.

Unfortunately things like this will happen even if they do provide somewhere for the youngsters to drive their cars fast. Sad but true......

The thing is it wasn't a fast car - it was a 106 ... still nothing in the news - but lots of flowers on the scene and los of crying kids - guess that means someone didn't make it.

Kinda of brings into prospective how quickly something can happen to you.

One thing for sure - speeding in built up areas should be a major no no !! ..

Just seen the update - says 306 - sure it was a 106 - but there we go - thought it was serious from what i could see.

I guess the driver will go down, a pretty serious lesson to learn though.
