The Worst car you ever owned?
russ979 wrote:Now will anyone own up to having owned an fso?

1st car was one of these...
C Reg 1.6 FSO Polonez
Bloody thing nearly killed me when the break fluid resevoir decided to dump all it's fluid out on a trip to lowestoft...
Suddenly finding the brakes feel funny and then nothing is not a good feeling:willy_nilly:
Still once we knew what had heppened, we dumped a load more fluid in it, kept the bottle handy and still did the trip home

Don't think I've ever used the hand brake so much before though.

Was scrapped 2 days later to be replaced with a 2 yr old 1.3 Escort with 45,500 miles on the clock, sold that 2 yrs later with 99,500 showing and the only thing I replaced was a track rod end for an MOT

Ady.
1998 - 4.6L V8 - Manual Box - Ford Mustang
225 BHP @ 4750rpm - 290 ft lb @ 3500 rpm
225 BHP @ 4750rpm - 290 ft lb @ 3500 rpm
Well, which one do I chose as the worst?????
Could it be the Fiat 127 which was my first car. It got me all the way from the shire to Kidderminster to colledge and then decided to spin the distributor when I was about 2 miles out of Kiddy on the way home. My dad was not chuffed about being called out on a 8 hour recue mission at 7.30 on a wednesday evening.
Or could it be the banana yellow '85 Cavalier that i bought when I was about 20. Got us to Milton Keynes when we moved there and promptly decided to spit out a core plug as i pulled up outside our new house. The new neighbours were really chuffed at that
Or could it be my last but 1 automotive purchase. The mighty Primera. It was bought as a temporary work hack to be used for possibly 2 to 3 weeks until we got a van but ended up being used for nearly 3 months until the MOT ran out. It had no handbrake what so ever. The rear shocks were completely shot to bits and you could only open the drivers door from the inside which was fun.
But what do you want for
