I find the way that manufacturers are blurring the lines between styles of cars (4x4 meets coupe) bizarre and rather pointless but these buggers sell. People thought Porsche had sold out when they unveiled their Cayenne a few years ago. I seem to remember reading recently that it was now Porsche's most profitable model and responsible for broadening the demographic of the companies customer base, thus ensuring a million more 911 models. Or something like that
