The only acceptable useage is common abbreviations such as LOL, PMSL etc.

Prime examples are

U instead of YOU
Y instead of WHY
M8 instead of MATE ...

come on - it doesn't take that much longer to write the full word.

Can I remind some people of this thread - stop being lazy and write the whole word !!! ...
