Website Downtime

The website will be down this evening from about 9pm when it is moved over to a new dedicated server to cope with the increased bandwidth that we are using and visitor numbers now.
This will give us much better speed and headroom for growth for the future and will, in time, open up other opportunities for the club.
I hope that everyone can bear with us whilst we get this move done and hold fire any criticisms, pms, emails, msn's, phone calls saying that the site is down during this period

Are you going to setup a holding page, for those that may not see this announcement before the downtime? (Just a thought ;-) )
Great news about the dedicated server btw :thumb:
Will there then be availablility for file uploads

The only issues will be DNS related (hopefully it is going to be 15 minutes downtime and that's it as I have DNS refresh set to 5 mins) but if any other issues appear then I will put up a holding page.
File Uploads will be on the agenda for discussion

move has been done - some people may see a holding page for a while whilst their DNS servers update but all will be fine and dandy afterwards

i would have been disappointed if it didnt to be honest
I have still got to finish bug checking all the current features to make sure everyone is running as it was but fingers crossed it seemed to be fairly smooth
