Some of you may have noticed a slight blip in the site this morning.

This was while I carried out the latest security update from the writers of the forum software.

The upgrade went through smooth enough with no errors but if you spot anything iffy please let me know.

Thanks

It is remarkably simple to do an upgrade if you do each one when they are released.

We are now running phpBB 2.0.22

I am investigating phpBB 3 and will see whether it is worth making the move over when that passes beta testing

What changes with the upgrades - do you get more admin features, security and stability updates?

Is phpBB 3 much of an improvement on what we have now?

Sorry to sound a bit naive, but haven't really got a clue as to how the forum itself works!

update: I have noticed that it says:
Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form.
when posting - I am looking into this and will fix asap. In the meantime if you just click submit again it will go through.
