i use pinnacle. i find it good for dragging clips or music to add.
the only problem i have with it is when burning onto DVD. for some reason i cant forward wind/ skip through the footage. it gets all confused?

I use the bog standard MovieMaker - it's a bit flaky and not very advanced when it comes to transistion but I like it.
When you do discover a good product let us know - I've got Pinnacle but it keeps losing lip sync - even though my feed from the camera is all in one.

in fact ben, i do believe you still have a copy of my bike dvd?
there is a section where the sound has shifted for a few scenes then comes back?
i thought it was more to do with my dvd burner!!
must be the software?
