I read that earlier and was horrified. I don't mind admitting that I hadn't even heard of sinkholes until a while back............it can't be a new phenomena (I blame videogames)

There not that uncommon round here due to all the mining that used to go on in the midlands. When I bought my house I had to have a mining survey done first.

We've had a massive one in Thefthood before now that swallowed a bus full of people.
