are usually a mix that I try very hard to avoid, But after receiving a text from my brother suggesting that a potential good deal was ending in a few minutes, I proceeded to bid on the said bike.
If I'm honest, I had little to no idea what I was about to own, other than I once owned one as a child and it was red (and red is the best colour, right?).
So, after winning the Chopper for

Not so much horrid to ride, more like impossible
That said, they're cheap(ish) to buy, easy to work on and most importantly evoke some memories I thought I'd never have again

Loving this thread, now off to search for choppers. I had a red one too, a hand me down from my bro, and I also had a blue tomahawk which was his first. And before that I had a chipper, which was the tiny for proper small kids, all stabiliser'd up.
shot of capri in the background of the chopper is uber retro

Jon nothing like bringing a old bike back to life if you get some oxallic acid which you can get of eBay put the chrome parts in a bath ( not the one you use) leave the parts for 12 hours in it and they come up like new.

Fan-bloody-tastic a bollock crucher!

I loved my old one, Until i fell off it landing badly after an epic jump and broke my collar bone. I soon realised choppers were not made to get air born!
Ok it wasn`t an epic jump but a mediocre one on anything other than a chooper, I did break my collar bone though!
