10 years ago I saved up the cash ready to buy one but bottled it and walked out the shop with a 1:10th nitro instead.

Lad at work has had a model buying frenzy tanks and boats and got me thinking!

This one I found down at Heathrow was a couple of years old but had only had 1 tank of fuel through it last owner was a fruit cake he had two more in the living room he had spent over 4k on each, fitted covers, on stands and never used not even been run.

I've brought a replacement battery as just started to leak and even with a fail safe if the servo battery goes flat the throttle doesn't shut of:banghead: some fancy oil and a mixing bottle arrived today.

Uprated 26cc FG Marder 1:5th scale, updated servo's, gear and gear carriers, set of slicks, alloy brake carrier.

Can't wait to give it a run









Iam sure others have posted up nitro stuff anyone else running 1:5th stuff?

Couple of years ago I sold my nitro stuff and bough an fg leopard 25cc or was it 26cc I can't remember and it was awesome

Blimey a Marder! My ex had one of those still brand new in the box albeit the box was faded and tatty. I begged to have it but she wasn't wearing any of it.

I have various RCs still kicking around including a 1:8.5 Defender and a mental twin motor 1:12 mardave banger. We should bring some toys along to a meet.

Trev did it seem more reliable than the nitro stuff, got a Mardave mini in the loft.... Bring on the next meet.

The fg's are hardcore lee
They take so much abuse and they go alright aswell
My last nitro was a Schumacher menace which was a 3 speed thing and was bloody quick, way to quick for the little thing, everytime I used it I smashed it to bits so was an expensive hobby, bought the fg and didn't break a thing

I am currently back into tamiya battery stuff I bought a vintage 80's boomerang a couple of months back
Not the same buzz as a petrol one but kids love it
