I've not opened the orifice of my other garage for quite a while now, and tbh I was a little unsure of what i'd find.
So, very timidly and with a gutful of trepidation and enough adrenaline to make me feel sick, I prised open the cobweb adorned door...

...had my old car gently and gracefully corroded into something I could sweep up with a dust pan and brush? If not, would she start? If so, would she spontaneously combust into a huge fireball taking me and half of Suffolk with her?...



Errrm, no!

The fiesty bitch fired up into life at the very first flick of the key
The sound, oooooh the sound, I can't even begin to describe the flat4 growl that I'd etched from my memory, let alone the WRC type "chirp" that comes withs a dump valve delete!
The sheer amount of memories that came flooding back as I nestled into the Sparco bucket seat whilst the various guages cleared their throats and whistled back into life was almost too much to take in.
Emotional it certainly was, that's for sure

Anyhoo, the upshot is that i've been given a clutch by a very very kind mate and have the option to have another STi 6 speed box at an extremely advantageous price.
I didn't plan on ever getting the Scoob back on the road, but if i'm honest i've come to the conclusion that life is just too short and I could drop dead tomorrow, so why not enjoy the fruits of all the money i've spunked on her? I'll probably regret it when i'm eating dust for dinner and drinking out of puddles due to having no money, but fuck it! Just totally fuck it!!!
I absolutely can not wait to get her back on the tarmac
