How is everyone?

Post by pedGSR »

Just thought I would say hi, been a while since I've been on here. So what's everyone been up to?
Me? Well I've been looking for somewhere to rent as our 2 bed is just too small now. (any landlords out there with a 3 bed house?) also gone and bought a Volvo. How bad are times when you buy a Volvo!!
Now just trying to decide what to do with the e30...the donor for the engine swap has been scrapped now.
All in all seem to be stuck in a rut, all work and no play.
Anyway hope to catch you all soon for good times.

Pete

As for dissing Volvo's, I've owned a few (3 T-5's and a diseasel) and I have loved every one (apart from the 5k depreciation on the C70..........in eight weeks!)

I wondered what had happened to you, the Mrs and the project :) Hope to see you on the 1st maybe?

I'm sure I could show my face for a few hours stu :)
I'm really happy with the Volvo actually, it's a fantastic car. Does make me feel old driving it though!
Unfortunately the BMW project is a no go. I had to scrap the donor car. Sacrilege really with the 3.5, manual box, LSD etc. but that's life.
Have started dusting off the evo now trying to decide what to do with it....

Broke some of it. No interest in the engine or box though so that got taken away with the car. People dont seem to be as interested in the larger engines nowadays. I think I still have the LSD in the garage somewhere though. And a few boxes of bits!

Hello Pete!
There is nothing wrong with volvo`s old boy!:D
I loved my T4 even if i found the room on the driverside a little cramped for me.
You are now the third person i know to swap bmw power for turbo`d volvo power in as many weeks after sasman and bigbimmer. Good luck with it mate.

Yes, Because they are both too busy buying travel rugs and slippers! Rumor is that they will both be joining the "caravan club" soon as well!:D
