We were taking the car over to Gordon's today and whilst driving down the motorway some kid in a civic pulls up along side us, slows down the roars off. Alan was driving at the time and looked over at me in disbelief. The civic then slows down so we end up catching up with him and once along side he drops it a gear and roars off again.

Alan turned to me and simply said f***ing t**t.

After all, Alan was driving the Frontera and the Time Attack car was on the trailer:banghead:

many many years ago I was in Brentwood high street in my pug 1.9 .. there is a little roundabout at the end of town, I was queuing in the left lane, a VW golf pulled up next to me in the right lane - he starts reving the nuts out of his gti then floors it off as he's merrily grinning at me - to promptly hit the car in front that was still waiting at the roundabout ... karma :)

Boys, who are we kidding here?
I know we are now sensible and use our cars in the appropriate way, but who amongst us did nt dick about when we were young?
I think this just shows we've grown out of it and recognise when "youngsters" are being foolish.
I can think back to some horrendous stuff I did full of youth and silliness, most of which never involved any third parties.
Young men will always think they've got super human skills and reactions, sometimes they do it but it's rarely combined with the presence of mind to keep it on the track.
For my part, as long as they are nt putting someone at risk, or causing a nuisance, good luck to them.

true true true - hence why you are proven to be a reduced insurance risk by 35! ... I find I'm grumbling when someone is going 5 miles over the limit - it's like I never had a GTR :)
