It's inevitable that this will happen. Higher number of people watching= more knobs as well as more potential buyers.

I thought you Scots liked a bit of a haggle? :)

I don't mind a bit of haggling mate....but over e-mail without viewing the car and coming in with a silly offer is just a waste of both peeps time....

It just seems to be eBay mentality. I'm sure if I listed something stupidly cheap someone would still offer 50% or less of the asking price.

I put the Vectra on with Best Offer, but set it to auto reject anything below a certain level. You can still see what the offers where, no surprise a few took the piss.
