MW3 vs Battlefield 3..........

Post by Rob S »

........Let battle commence (Sorry could nt resist)

BF3 is launched tonight, and MW in a couple of weeks.
Decisions decisions........been playing Bulletstorm quite a bit recently, and love its gratuitous violence and OTT deaths.
Dark winter nights are nt all bad!

Great minds :)
Not heard of Bullet Storm; any good?

As for MW3 the adverts look simply amazing. I tend to prefer their gameplay to just about anything else going. I've tried that Assassin's Creed thing mate, but got bored within 5 minutes :D (No patience)

Let me know how you get on.........I take it this is PS3 you're talking about?

Yes PS3.
Bulletstorm is like taking a box of Red Bull in one sitting, and then playing MW on fast forward with the volume cranked up to 11.
It's a crazy, rude, bloody, violent festival of bullets, drills and fire.
I'll let you borrow it next time we see eachother mate.

It's perfect for that, not quite the intellectual fix for serious gamers, but it's a real quick fix like the old fashioned arcade games.

I'm only getting BF3 before xmas. Although the COD vids look amazing I did feel a bit short changed with the last one which felt too samey. Will pick it up at some point but games are getting pretty expensive now so I have to feel that I want it at the top price or whether to wait a few months for it to drop a bit.

Loving BF3, you need a good squad though to make it good, the aircraft are superb, nothing more satisfying than shooting down a jet whilst sat in a helicopter.
