Where is everyone

Post by pablo »

So what's everyone upto as it seems to have gone very quite on here.

I plan to spend easter regaining control of my garden after 2 years of neglect. Have decided to rip almost everything out re design it and start again. Also need to rebuild the water feature, after nearly 10yrs the wooden sleepers have started to rot.

The car will get a wash and polish and maybe a drink of V-power ready for the 30th. Also still got to finish making the frame for the banner.

Cut about an acre of grass (a friend's horse is eating the rest)
Picked up some 10mm stone for the patio area
Painted some more fence on the boundary
Painted some of the masonry on the front of the house
Rubbed down and painted the porch on the front
Visited a garden centre and bought loads of vegetables and plants to get ready

Drunk beer
Ate food
Laid in a hammock

More of the same for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Bring it on

Ah a prick of the conscience I put the sprinkler on the lawn and also watered the flower beds and pots I did the decent thing and waited till the misses had finished digging planting and weeding she really is a little gem.

Roll on the 30th so I can do something really constructive (Do we know what time we need to be there Pablo?)

Not heard anything yet Harry. I did email them and they said they will be sending out more details closer to the date. Just need to convince Alan that we need to soften the suspension for the 3 hour drive or i'll be a broken man by the time we get there.

Been camping with the kids.

Failed to get any where near servicing the clio.

Rebuilt the carb on the lawnmower again.

Many BBQs

Too much beer

and 1 or 2 short runs to ease my conscience about bear and bbqs

Spent 3 hours polishing and claybar'ing Emmas Polo yesterday and trying to find my coolant leak.

Doing a few jobs for at the folks house and then a nice BBQ at ours this afternoon and trying to avoid doing the gardening !!

Ha ha ha its one of those tiny disposable ones that cooks about 2 things and then dies.

Too hot for driving today, I'm cooked and thats with just a 10 min journey.
