I cannot believe that I used to earn money, quite good money, from selling that crap
Ben, life is too short for that nonsense mate. Seriously, it's Grand Theft Auto vs A fist full of dollars........a great game ten years ago and a great film period but this still has a crappy control interface (look at the bit where the main character is jumping up and down next to the horse)
I just don't 'get' the point of lasooing a nun, riding for hours with her on the back, just to put her on track tracks to kill her. Bizarre.
Call of Duty, Ghost Recon online multiplayers etc I understand. Sub standard derivative GTA rip offs............nope. I'd prefer to spend

You are both wrong, it looks awesome !! Although I still cant see it as being a Ben game.
GTA4 was superb, the story, the realistic city and the extra Rockstar touches
I'm getting it !!!!!

Dues Ex. Used to love that on the PC years back. Superb find. If its anything like the other games it could be brilliant!!

The first one was ok but it wasnt half boring, was clever with the stealth stuff though and how you could upgrade yourself.
Be interested to see the footage though, hopefully it isnt like MDK though which was a no brainer action shoot through.

MDK had some of the most intelligent touches of any PlayStation shoot'em up.......we are talking the original 1998 PSX version right, not the follow on on 2001?
The second instalment of Deus Ex was, in my opinion, one of the finer moments of console gaming. I remember poring over the decision of how to modify and personalise my character and how my decisions affected the friendships and allies that were forged later in the game. That element, coupled with rock hard difficulty levels and and enduring storyline meant that it was a step beyond much of the FOS fodder available at the time (or since)
The fact that Square Enix and Eidos have got their heads together for this title bodes well for the game, with Square looking after the CG and publishing, Eidos the gameplay mechanics. Time will tell. The only real reason I posted this was in response to Ben's 'woo, let's run around a do pointless stuff with a gameplay interface that should have been abolished with the megadrive'
Games should have moved on but they won't do until we stop buying re-polished turds like Red Dead.
