I frekin love snowboarding.

Went to Alp D'huez this year - fantastic place, planning at least 3 boarding trips next year :)

Cracking pics Ben, looks like good fun.
Might explore this when the family are a bit older (good for the kids, bad for our ageing joints ;))

Andy (Hope4Sun) was also on the trip. All I can say is Rob, you'd love it - don't ski, that's for sissy's! ... I wish i'd discovered boarding in my 20's ... also can't recommend Alpes D'huez more highly, the resort is perfect for all levels and the chalets are basically on the slopes. It's also a great social thing,

We were able to board off the mountain upto the backdoor of our chalet.

This year was awesome however two of our party got quite badly injured sledging! .. i.e. Alex broke his neck in two places, hip and wrist. Bryan buggered his wrist and nose - and then one of my friends broke his kneecap whilst in Austria.

Mate come with us :) ... A big group of mixed abilities and personalities - 12 this year, last year I think there was 16 of us. I intend to go at least 3 / 4 times in 2011 .. there will be definitely one big trip with Neilson.co.uk - thus fully catered chalet. Plus I'll just tag onto an Aviva organised one

You could pick up boarding in an hour and a half :)

Fair point Gareth.

I could reply with something kind of amusing and offensive but as I like you, I won't :)

Thanks for the offer Ben but I think I'll politely decline the opportunity. Your safety record worries me :)
