Nokia n95 vs Sony K850i

Post by lsop »

Just about to change my phone and can get either... I've got the K800i at the moment.

Anyone got either of these that can help me choose?

Thanks

N95 has more tat on it that 99% of people wont use, i have friends with both. Both are very good. However if youre used to Sony, stay with the 850i. I dont think you'll be disappointed.

I have the Sony. Very pleased with it. I think the Nokia has more gizmos, like a cut down satnav, that doesn't work very well. Battery is OK and life depends on how much use it gets.

Sony has less but what it does have works well. Nice 5megapixel camera with good functions.

I have the Sony and still cant figure out how to use it :D Years of owning Nokia phones has taught me a 'certain' way and the Sony menus seem less intuitive.

Having said that it is a great phone (even though mine is a 810i) and great battery life.

Yep - I'm a sony fan - mainly due to the amazing battery life - I'll probably only charge mine once a week or so.

The N95's don't instill much battery confidence in me.

I have a N95! Had it since Jnue last year and I am now on my 5th handset  The speaker in the ear piece keeps going wrong. This was a common fault with all the older Nokias.

the camera and camrecorder is awesome, strongly reccomend it. it has loads of stuff on it which isn't needed but I can say it's proberbly the best phone I have ever had.

Battery life is cra, it lasts me a day and half on normal use or half a day when I am taking all the calls and we are busy. I think a must for a N95 is a in car charger, I have one in my car and one in the truck :-D :-D

what about the LG viewty? I was looking at the n95 a few weeks back now, the camera on the viewty won it for me, the only down side, is that you cant add post codes to peoples numbers
