Right

I have finally got myself back online (thanks Ben for your advice) but the problem is that my colours are not very bright. it is as if i can only see green and yellow in a very dark gloomy way.

I'm not sure if it is the leads from the 360 to the tv or some settings.

As i haven't played on the 360 for ages i had forgot it has gone like this and it's really interfering with my Forza fun!!!! to tell you how bad it is, when i bought my first car i couldn't tell what colour it is!!!!!!!!

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

what model of TV are you using ... does it accept Component connections. You don't get the component set standard with the 360, so you need to buy one. It's the type with the red, blue and green connectors.

I've never used the standard cable so can't comment.

Its funny, I find that when the 360 is first switched on the colours are quite light and bright, when my profile logs in it goes quite a bit darker. Just presumed it was a setting somewhere but I dont think I have found it.

It used to be fine on the tv i've got, it's a Samsung 40" lcd

I have just switched on the 360 and it seems to be better ????????

I have bought the after market leads and they did work fine.

I think i'll try resetting the factory settings and see how it is then.

Thanks for the advice. i'll let you know how i get on

Samsung 40inch plasma per chance ? ...

If so - you need to go into the tv options and select screen mode for game and set colour mode for rich .... that will do it ...
