how does this affect owners of "pre-owned" consoles?

mine must have been used online coz of the live arcade games already on it.

however it didn't appear to be registered when i did it all through the xbox website and when i registered myself through xbox live.

would it be a case of so long as i have registered the consoles serial number on the back i am covered?

i don't expect you to know but you might as i guess you deal with "pre-owned" stuff?

The New Xbox 360 Extended Warranty

The Xbox 360 Enhanced Warranty

Good service and a good customer experience are areas of the business that Microsoft cares deeply about. Previously, we experienced what to us was an unacceptable number of repairs to Xbox 360 consoles. We

Anyone else have a problem with their 360 crashing fairly regluarly? An on and off fixes it but it's a pain in the middle of an online game.

Pah after receiving some really really poor customer service from Microsofts helpdesk and having to chase them every 2 days for 6-7 weeks I was not impressed !!

This extended warranty is a good idea and I am all in favour for it.....however it for me doesnt solve the problems I experienced with the Helpdesk (in France I think) and the 2nd line Microsoft support team in America who couldnt and didnt seem to want to talk to each other.

Wonder what the so called improvements to the 3 red lights actually means ?!!!!!? If anything.

Sorry for the negative post, I do think the extended warranty gives that extra piece of mind but when you compare it with Sony who if your hardware goes wrong they deliver another the next day and you can send yours back it puts the whole 'allow 4 weeks' for MS to fix a 360 in perspective !!

As for the freezing, mine doesnt do that, the only issue I get is joining online matches. I seem to remember reading that the issues are down to me connecting online through 2 routers.
