Bubbles new toy

Post by Bubble »

My other love apart from the Skyline, is off-roading with my work mates :D It's good cheap fun and can be very challenging at times. I started off with an old Suzuki SJ413 about three years ago, hand painted it, gave it a four inch suspension lift and drowned it in a lake :o I progressed onto a Shogun, which was an ebay

I can't find a second hand bumper that's not rotten, so I guess this is the next job

The four year older Shogun was nowhere near as rusty as this Disco

It has to be ready for off-roading on Sunday, as I promised a friend I would show him a full on muddy experiance and he is bringing his imacculate Pajero :o

TAXI !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey that rust is incredible, I have been looking ito RX7 FCs and thought they were bad but thats worse.

Loving the 'drainpipe' on the side (yes I do know what its for!!).

Cant believe they are that cheap though.

Is it me or is it leaning to the back too much ? Looks like its on the suspension more at the rear rather than the front.

Good project though mate, have to say I used to be against 4x4s but the more I look at them the more I think I like them.

:D Gareth - have you been drinking - Bubble - looks like fun mate ... I could be tempted to get the M38 jeep out of storage and bring that along.
