Film of the Week

Post by Stuart »

Well why not

A couple of recommendations actually.
Talladega Nights is the new (relatively) comedy starring Will Farrell and is set in the world of the Nascar race driver. The cars were great, Will Farrell on top form and I found this one of the funniest films I had watched in years. Watch out for Sacha Baron Cohen as the dastardly Jean Girard. A great role for the big man and funny as hell.

The Sentinel is the thriller that fans of 24 will be dribbling over. Not only does it star Kiefer Sutherland, Michael Douglas and Eva Longoria but the intricate thriller takes some of the ideas of a presidential threat and turns it up to 11. A really cracking thriller, easy to follow with enough twists and turns to keep you interested. Top draw :D

I'll add to this from time to time and hope it's useful :thumb:

Ah I was gonna see that but didnt want to fork out for the cinema prices so waiting for it on dvd.

Probably wont bother now.

Em and I saw Blood Diamond on friday, once you get past the Di Caprio Rhodesian accent its actually a blinking good film !!
Really recommend it, its based around the illegal diamond trade in Africa and the internal wars using kids as soldiers. Thought it was one of the best films I had seen in a long time !!
