Aaaarrrggghhh Ipod batteries !!!

Post by RX7 »

My Ipod photo (20gig version) is giving me grief at the mo, its the battery. Something I believe thats a common fault.

Basically it will last for about a day and a half and then be flat, this is with occasional use or none at all.

Had it about 2 years and it was pointed out to me that it would be an issue in the future when I bought it from new.

So....what are my options ? Dont really want to send it back to Apple for an extortionate repair.

I have seen this site which does a replacement battery thats better than the original and all the bits to change it :
http://www.pdasmart.com/products/AP81ip ... rphoto.htm

Is this the best option or anyone (Duncan, hoping you may be able to) able to suggest a better alternative ?

No. Are you using a lack of capitals in the spelling of my name through a lack of respect or was it a typo

I was trying to be 'street', largely because I have been beseiged by sportswear clad ninja's with z's in their names all day. I have never seen so many hooded tops in all of my life.

Back to the topic eh :D

Was debating whether to pm Dunk straight away but thought by posting it on a thread anyone in the same boat would be able to see what to do.

Plus it may give Dunk some more business !!!!
