I didnt like it online.

Nowhere near as good as COD.

As a single player game it seems quite interesting, but I much prefer Rainbow Six (sorry Stu - twas a Xmas pressie so didnt come from you :( )

I think Gears of War is one of those games that people either take to like a duck to water or don't ~full stop. If you think I'm bad at Call of Duty you should see me on Gears of War :wave2:
Two player co-operative campaign mode is pretty damned good though and would be great to see this idea intergrated into more games.

I like the idea of Rainbox 6 where if you have the camera you can take a photo of yourself and then the game will create a face for you and put it on your player !!

Genius !!!

I thought Gears of War graphics etc were incredible, will be buying it when its a tad cheaper and I have finished the games I have.

Now FEAR I recommend !! Play it on hardcore level (hardest) and the AI is simply incredible. It brings back memories playing Half Life for the first time when you came up against the Army people in it !!

Keep shooting whilst hiding behind the walls
Only shoot when those bird things(can't rememer their name) leave him exposed
When he comes round the wall, quickly jump over and keep blasting him
Make sure you pick up the ammo before you go in as he took me about 500 bullets to kill him
Just leave Dom when he dies and stay in the light

Worked for me

bloody hell, thought there was some weird system to it, like run to the Machine gun and whilst protecting the helicopters. Only been at it two hours. Thanks.
