Hahahaha :D
Have you bought what I think you've bought?

Sprintiing sounds good, and I think a return to that will make you a happier bunny (you being a competitive bugger- in the nicest way  ) Keep me posted Mike ;)

Tommy, that 130i is lovely.......really liking the body/wheel colour combo  Will be interesting to hear how you get on with the diff and coilovers, as I can't imagine that it would be anything other than epic :)

Loving that 130.
I'll be getting the car remapped, new exhaust, bonnet done ( again), calipers painted, not much compared to some.

Well for me i`m going to have to get the welder out on the golf.:( I couldn`t help myself. I found a loose bit of sealer under the drivers side of the floor around the crushed jacking point, So i pulled it off and had a prod.........before i knew it i had made a hole!:banghead: That was about a month ago and i haven`t taken the old girl out since as with this weather i fear a footwell full of water might be quite unnecessary.:)
I must also do something with the old mercedes. I have seriously though of upsetting the classic merc establishment and go against my own prejudices and do a rat look?:D

Dispite its looks it is totaly solid with just that little bit of surface rust on that nearside rear door. The paintwork is shot, But the interior is superb (for a 52 year old!)

I have got all new brightwork for it including mega rare NOS door handles, Bumpers etc. My thought are stick the old bumpers and brightwork back on, space the stock hub cap less wheels out or at least find some 15inch wheels, Slam the suspension (Its on coil spring all round) Find a reto roof rack and finnish it off with a bit of sticker bombing! I think that should have the purists up in arms? And not the normal rat tool!:D
