Has the BP site been abandoned after it crashed?
Is BP still an active forum guys?
Re: Has the BP site been abandoned after it crashed?
The hay day of regular events and competition seems to have gone off the boil, and there's less projects being reported about. As Stu and some of the longer term members have often said, the club will always need a turn over of new blood. I'm a typical example, do less track days and have less disposable income to play with. We're all growing up and more sensible after all!
I still enjoy being part of BP, just find there's little point writing about how something else sounds odd on the car, or how someone else has mucked me about with a sale on eBay. I still love reading about other peoples work however.

Growning up and more sensible...... i hope not I am grown old disgracefully. ....
The other half hates my car ......says its noisey smelly and uncomfortable. .....all the more reason to keep it.....
Has been very quiet on here for ages.......
I think we all jeed a good reason to have a piss up perhap a wedding or a wetting the babys head sort of celebration is required. ....
Just a thought. .....

Rather embarrassed about this.
The backups were happening, but my home server that downloads them has been offline since we moved house, forgot all about this until it went Tits up.
Lesson for life, its all very well doing backups, but if you leave them on the server that dies they are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
Sorry.
As for the posts count dying off. I like many haven't got a fun car any more
Real life got in the way, houses mortgages kids, I think when there's so free money sloshing about , I'll buy something again but for now cars just get me to work
