well done a bit more in the loft this weekend and got some better pics
of what ive been upto.

all the frame has now been built and most of it has been boarded
no but got to wait till payday to some more.

Image

as you can see its the back sections that needs boarding over
Image

in the far corner this is were im thinking of having my branch line station.
this will be raised so can have a tunnel for mainline trains and freight can pass under.
Image

one of the raised corner sections, this was going to be the same height all the
way round but when put my loco on the board the pantograph hit the beams
so now it will dip down and go under its own station.
Image

once I made the raised sections got one of my sets out that will be running on the line to make sure
it does not struggle to get up and doesn't come down to fast with gradient and happy to say works ace.
Image
Image
Image

also this weekend I made my spare sierra GT seat into an office chair.
this is the fat controllers chair:smilielol5:
Image

roll on payday so I can finish the boarding off and start making up my stations.

well its been a few weeks since I last updated the thread but things are moving along
slowely but at least it moving along

finished laying the board around the back.
Image
Image

then I layed down some roof felt and layed down some track
Image

layed down the branch line track and wired it all up
put on my virgin voyager and midland mainline 350 for a run around.
the inclines work really well and have no derailments
Image

this is were all my controllers will sit
Image

started laying track in the one corner to figure out how to feed 6 platforms
Image

once I was happy with the corner bits I got a piece of 2x2 and cut some track groves
into it so the track is evenly spaced, all I done was slide the block along the track to straighten it out.
well happy with how it worked.
Image
Image

got 4 lines down then started on a couple of platforms
Image
Image

then added a platform top as per my old layout
Image

this is going to be the branch line station.
Image

and this is how it looks at the moment
Image

the otherside just looks like a work bench at the moment so no pics of that:D

Glad you've got this all set up now. Somewhere to go and something to do, to get away from it all:thumbs:

once finished the above started on detailing the station and behind it.

bought some platform lights and wired them all up which took a few days to do as I had to make sure the wires
underneath didn't get caught by the trains underneath.
added the road and even though its not in the pic there is a bus stop.
I also found the love my life in the car park

camera makes the lights look much dimmer than they are

I bought myself an engine shed for my maintenance depot.
a great little kit to build up

Image
Image

detailed it with Freightliner details
Image
Image

then added my refuelling depot
Image
Image

the whole depot area is independent of everything else so can run engines around the depot and up to
the fiddle yard ready for them to depart.

this is a video of they layout in use and shows bit more detail.
