Paypal payment

Post by blacky »

Right chaps. Bit of a quick question that you might be able to help me with.

I'm interested in buying something that was on eBay but the auction has ended. I have agreed a price with the seller.

Now the question is if I pay through PayPal outwith eBay do I have the same protection as if I paid within eBay?
Only reason to ask is that it's for a reasonable sum and I don't want done over with no protection to fall back on.

Ta muchos

Logan

If you haven't circumvented Paypal/eBay rules (i.e. avoided going through the auction to save fees etc) then paying through Paypal should be perfectly protected Logan. Jason Fletcher has been known to dabble in high value eBay deals so he could be worth an ask......(all of my eBay deals are whilst drunk so I can't help) :D

Cheers Big man.

I did think it worked that way but wanted to be sure. It's not a huge money purchase but enough to not want to loose it if the sellers turns out to be sour!

Could always try and get a confirmed home address and then you know where to send me if it does.

PayPal will always side with the buyer, you'll be fine (provided you pay the fees...)
