Came out last week, anyone else make the purchase ?

Amazing track list, something for everyone !
Graphics are spectacular, anyone in doubt race the Ring in the dark !
Car choice
Bads
Terrible terrible sound, this hasn't moved on since GT3 ! For a simulation its crap compared to Forza !
Damage again fails to be accurate......ultimate driving simulator.....yes if you are happy with a car driving into a barrier and bouncing off and continuing !
Car choice....while there are loads to drive there are only a certain number of 'premium' cars which have the interior cockpits etc. Forza does them all !
Overall its more of the same, some big improvements on GT5 though like the loading between screens which was infuriating last time !
Word is there is a patch on the way to rectify the sound, hope so as thats a massive massive let down on this game.
Any thoughts from anyone else ?

I hear while the night racing is awesome, the headlights can be very poor- to the point where people are having to crank up the tv brightness to be able to see the track. The 'create your own track from GPS data' thing sounds interesting- will be interesting to see how that works.
The GT4-spec non 'premium' cars thing is crap though- if they can't be arsed to redo the models, they should leave them out until they can be added later. This was Forza 5's excuse for the lack of cars/tracks at launch.... however, with Forza they're going to be paid DLC! So they want you to pay

Finishing off the Ford

Even GT6 does this and bodymods are pretty limited in it. There is a fabulous selection of wheels though including every Rays / Volk Racing, Enkei, Advan etc.Danny@APT wrote:While I'm whinging about Forza (apologies)- the exhaust tailpipe still doesn't alter from standard when fitting a race system, leaving the pathetic stock pea-shooter in place
I have played Forza 5 and was blown away by the graphics, which truly were remarkable but to me it felt like it was a rushed game to get it out for launch so xbox one had a launch title. More money for half the cars, much less tracks just didn't seem worth it and hasn't made me upgrade yet.

Just to counter the whole feeling that the gaming industry is full of lazy, money-grabbing gits with no imagination...
While watching Terminator (for the umpteenth time) on TV the other night, I was reminded of probably the best game to be released this year, also featuring Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese in the film). After finishing Far Cry 3, a decent game in itself, a few of the developers sat down and decided to have some fun with the tools- and the
