Just checked what I thought might be a part number, looks like it should be attached to the AC compressor :D

Also noticed a rotation symbol so I guess it might normally spin?

Its off the AC pulley mate,
check the AC shaft turns and that the ac pump has seized up internally,
if it has seized up then new compressor,
if it hasnt seized up you can get a pulley repair kit that replaces but the pulley and clutch

Awesome :D Looks like it's been off for a while  When I bought the car the AC was fine, but when it got hot it was shite so it's been turned off since then. I'll have a quick look when it stops pissing down with rain :smash:

tbh mate you'll probably find the shaft nut has snapped off and that means a new compressor is needed.

Will that effect any of the belts on the engine? I've not looked closely to see if there's one belt running all parts like the AC comp, power steering etc?
