ahh i see tbh them machines that sell hot nuts on the bar do well at 1.50 a "pop"

so the "pop" corn on the bar should do well too .

You sort of getting it now mate. More likely to have prepacked bagged popcorn in a pub or a large container/warmer on the bar for a bar person to serve a portion quickly as the machines take a few minutes to pop a batch. The machine will be for parties/functions where it will have a dedicated person popping/serving.

Good luck Eddy! Anything is better than Butterkist!

Will this be aiming towards 'gourmet popcorn'? A bit like what Kettle Chips did with crisps many many years ago and now you have gourmet crisps everywhere.

There are lots of avenues to explore. The Americans are crazy about popcorn. It is massive business over there. People over here like it, but mainly seem to just pay through the nose for it at cinemas. Just got to make people aware that good popcorn is available elsewhere much cheaper.

Perhaps we will both be Dragons soon lol.

Good luck with the new venture! I have a Whirley Pop and been using it for years. Think homemade popcorn is a bit of a hidden gem so fingers crossed you do well!

Thanks Stuart. I have been called Fast Eddy for 30 years so ain't gonna change it now lol. No way am i getting fat, it will slow down the featherweight Metro!

One would have to eat hell of a lot of popcorn to make one fat. It only uses a little vegetable oil in the cooking process and the popped corn is just quite filling so not fattening.
