x-box 360 problem

Post by puggsy »

Yes I've got the three rings of death on my x-box. Had it since it was released so out of warranty. Any body know how to fix it or do I have to buy another? Any advice would be appreciated.

Phone up microsoft and they will pick it up and fix it for free as long as it's not 3 years old. Stuart posted a thread a while ago with the phone number on.

You can get more information on the cause of the error by doing a diagnostic test:

As James said if it was manufactured less than 3 years ago MS will repair it even if you're not the original owner.
