Bloody hell. What a contrived, strung out, two hour waste of time that was. If anyone is daft enough to hire, or worse still, buy this awful film please do try and explain the plot to me.
My take was a ghost story with some good 'jumpy' bits but totally devoid of any flow or rhythm. It felt like a parody of a proper horror movie.
Samuel L was Ok, but pretty stereotypically sauve and pompous as the hotelier. John Cusack should be renamed Forest after one of the worst acting displays in recent times. How the same guy that made Grosse Point Blank could also make this is beyond me.

On a brighter note, Rush Hour 3 is out too :thumb: Don't watch '1408'. Watch 'Rush Hour 3'
