So they have made the decision and the mag is closing?

Yes, I'm afraid so. I had an email from Steve Chalmers yesterday, they got the news at 10.30am yesterday, three weeks into the production of what would have been Issue 21, that the magazine has been shut down.
So despite all our efforts, it was to no avail. Shame, as it was a great mag. I can only wish Steve, Matt and all the others all the best.

That's so frustrating, it had so much more potential - if only they had looked to sort the distribution or lack of it!.

Big shame. I subscribe to all 3 of the 'Jap' mags and there was nothing between em quality-wise...

Sad news.....Steve had done a great job and the mag will be missed as Jap performance and Banzai are not as good .in my opinion of course
Just read the Big power write up.....nice one

Got mine as well........
Spoke to Steve Chalmers today though, and he's now gone back to his roots at Fast Car. Don't despair completely though  , as he assures me the magazine will be undergoing some changes to get rid of the, shall we say........chav side of things......and become a much more upmarket and serious publication.
