OMG just been browsing through BigPower & spotted this! Hello!

Yes I was FREEZING and the Cobra was about to break down. Scott had to stop for petrol for his 205 GTi hence why I was miserable, getting soaked and Cobra headlights were the power of candles. We'd been at the Pistonheads Christmas meal in Tostock (nr Bury St Edmunds).

My alternator belt had flipped round and was running on the smooth side & creating a smoky smell that was making me panic plus oil temp was horrendously high & I was getting wet!!

So sorry I didn't see you :( The Cobra has not been out since that day - garaged it immediately afterwards as we were fitting fuel injection over the Winter along with a pretty large overhaul of the wiring & electrics!

On a good note - hope to get it started next weekend! Woo hoo!

Yep looking forward to FINALLY coming to a BigPower meet or two - I'm going to pencil in April although March may be a possibility depending on the electrics & weather....
Really excited about driving it again too....driving a LHD Smart car is not much fun.
